UA Girls Who Code Off to Another Great Year

The UA Girls Who Code Club (a project of SIROW's Women in Science and Engineering Program) is off to another great year. Nearly 30 middle and high school girls are enrolled for the 2018-19 cycle and will participate in free weekly coding classes throughout the fall and spring semesters.  Through this program, they will develop basic coding skills, while building relationships with other young women committed to fostering more diverse and inclusive tech communities. This program is generously supported via funding from the Silverman Small Grants Program of the Women's Foundation of Southern Arizona and the UA College of Engineering.
