The Imagine Your STEM Future Project at SIROW's Women in Science & Engineering Program !

The Imagine Your STEM Future Project at SIROW's Women in Science & Engineering Program (WISE) involves STEM professionals in supporting the career development of students regardless of gender.  The Imagine Your STEM Future Project cultivates a strong mentoring loop among high schoolers, U of A Students, and local STEM professionals.  Last year 54 local high school students were paired with 8 U of A student mentors and 5 Raytheon professionals.  While Raytheon professionals mentored U of A students on STEM careers and development,  they also prepared them to become mentors to local high school students interested in pursuing STEM professions.  This multi-tiered approach fosters a generative loop of mentorship, helping to ensure retention for students and people for lower income households.  We celebrate the successful outcomes of WISE's Imagine Your STEM Future Project!!
