SIROW remembers the life of our beloved founder Dr. Myra Dinnerstein!

It is with a heavy heart that SIROW remembers the life of our beloved founder Dr. Myra Dinnerstein. In addition to establishing one of the most successful institutes for research on women in the country, Dr. Dinnerstein also established the University of Arizona's Women's Studies Program, becoming a national voice and leader for institutionalizing feminist thought and advancing the status of women in academia and society alike. We send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Dinnerstein and trust her legacy and memory will thrive triumphantly in the spaces of feminist scholarship and grassroots movements she so tenaciously fought to establish. Her legacy is evident in everything that SIROW accomplishes with our partners and communities with whom we work.
