SIROW at the the Coalition for Juvenile Justice 2019 Racial and Ethnic Disparities Conference

On November 20, 2019, SIROW's Dominique Cruz, Tamara Sargus, and Sally Stevens along with January Contreras from Arizona Legal Women and Youth Services (ALWAYS) presented at the Coalition for Juvenile Justice 2019 Racial and Ethnic Disparities Conference. Often times juvenile justice involvement can result in barriers for youth that follow them into adulthood. This workshop focused on burdens placed on youth and families specific to fines/fees and record expungement and well as promising practices to improve outcomes for youth as they enter adulthood.
