2025 Call for Papers

The American Society of Evidence-Based Policing, or ASEBP, is accepting proposals for the 9th annual Evidence-Based Policing Conference, to be held April 30 – May 2, 2025, and hosted by the University of Arizona.

The ASEBP is a non-profit organization designed to drive the national conversation toward ensuring that the least harmful, most effective, fairest, and safest research-based strategies are employed to prevent crime, reduce harm, and improve community wellness.

The conference will convene police and community-based practitioners, researchers, and funders together to advance evidence-based policing to address community safety and well-being. With support from the University of Arizona College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Southwest Institute for Research on Women, Office for Research, Innovation, and Impact, and the Tucson Police Department, the conference will include workshops and panel discussions led by both industry and academic speakers. Practitioner and academic collaborations are encouraged.

Proposals on any relevant policing research are welcome, including themes of wellness, use of force, staffing, and officer safety. Students are encouraged to submit proposals.
