First International Meeting on Best Practices on Inclusion and Nondiscrimination in Hermosillo Sonora Mexico
SIROW’s Monica Davis, along with Dr. Elise Lopez, Director of the UA Consortium on Gender-Based Violence, and Dr. Luis Coronado Guel, Director of SBS Mexico Initiatives, attended the First International Meeting on Best Practices on Inclusion and Nondiscrimination in Hermosillo Sonora Mexico. The Meeting, which took place March 2-5, 2020, focused on promoting, protecting and guaranteeing inclusion and nondiscrimination at the university and community level for people with disabilities. Monica Davis was part of a panel presentation on inclusion at the workforce, social, and educational settings. She highlighted the need for process and impact evaluation when implementing new programs in various settings.
