Community School Gardens

SIROW Director Dr. Josephine Korchmaros recently co-authored an article presenting findings from SIROW’s evaluation of the University of Arizona’s Community and School Garden Program, now referred

to as the School Garden Workshop. The article, “The association between school garden exposure and self-reported learning and school connectedness among elementary school students in the Southwest United States”, was published in Health Education & Behavior.
