SIROW Welcomes a New Researcher - Sara Shuman!!

Sara Shuman, Ph.D., MPH, joins SIROW as an Associate Research Professor. Dr. Shuman holds a Ph.D. in Public Health from Temple University and has over 10-years of community-based experience in public health research, program planning, and evaluation. Her work uses mixed-methods, qualitative methods, and community-based approaches to improve health equity. Current and recent projects have focused on improving the lives of immigrant, refugee, unsheltered, and incarcerated populations. She is interested in policy-relevant and actionable research to increase equity and justice for individuals, families, and communities.
