SIROW Forms New Partnership

SIROW has partnered with Boys to Men Tucson (BTMT) after BTMT was awarded a Lovell Foundation planning grant to conduct a community readiness assessment to determine the potential and capacity for a Healthy Intergenerational Masculinity Initiative in Pima County.The goal of this project is to ensure that boys and masculine-identified youth in Pima County have access, both geographically and logistically, to mentors, programs, and communities that promote more fluid and healthy forms of masculinity and gender equality. SIROW assistant research social scientist Dr. Stephanie Murphy is working with Boys to Men Tucson's executive director Michael Brasher to conduct the assessment which will inform strategic planning for the initiative in the Fall.
