New Publication about the Trauma Experiences of Women

SIROW Director Dr. Josephine Korchmaros recently co-authored two associated articles related to trauma experienced by women. One article describes “Trauma experience among women who have substance use disorders and are homeless or near homeless.” The second article presents recommendations for practice based on the findings presented in the first article. It is called, “A research-informed approach to providing behavioral healthcare to women with extensive trauma histories.” Both articles are published in the Community Mental Health Journal.
