Stephanie Murphy

Stephanie Murphy is an Associate Research Social Scientist and Director of the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Program within SIROW. She holds a Ph.D. in Gender and Women's Studies with a graduate certificate in Human Geography from the University of Arizona. Using a mixed-methods approach that draws on both qualitative and quantitative analysis, she works on a number of intersectional, community-based research, outreach, and evaluation projects focused on structural equity issues with special attention to gender equity within STEM education and STEM workforce.
