The Launching Your Career (LYC) Symposium

The Launching Your Career (LYC) Symposium is a 2-day campus wide professional development and networking symposium targeted to women in STEM across the University of Arizona. LYC provides students the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and develop relationships with women STEM professionals to help successfully launch their STEM careers!

This year's LYC Symposium features:

• Keynote Speech by Calline Sanchez (Vice President, IBM)
• Interactive Workshops: Financial Planning, Salary Negotiation, Countering Imposter Syndrome
• Professional Insight Panels: Engineering, Data/Tech, Medicine, Environment/Life Science, Hybrid STEM Careers
• Networking Mixer for students, staff, faculty, and industry professionals
• Undergraduate Research Poster Presentation and Award

The LYC Symposium is free and open to anyone who registers. Most symposium events will take place in-person but panels will be offered in hybrid format.
